Teachers Council of Malawi (TCM) in collaboration with Malawi College of Distance Education (MCDE) and financial support from the Commonwealth of Learning is offering four free online CPD courses to equip teachers and teacher educators with 21st century skills through digitalization, online learning and access to online educational materials.

The available courses are:
1. Learning to learn online
2. Preparing Distance Learning materials
3. Universal design for learning
4. Understanding Open Education Resources.

The courses will be available, free of charge, to ECD, Primary and Secondary school teachers and teacher educators who are registered with TCM and have a valid teaching license.

Interested participants should submit an expression of interest by filling in a CPD form on the TCM portal using the following link: tmis.teacherscouncil.mw Click on CPD registration to enroll.

Participants can choose any or all of the 4 courses to be offered. Upon successful completion, an internationally recognized certificate of completion will be issued.

The closing date for receiving Expressions of Interest is 28 November 2025. Successful candidates will be notified through emails and SMSs. The courses will start with orientation and will be delivered fully online from December 2025 to January 2026.
